Te Quiero, Te Quiero Mas

y mas mas mas mas mas mas

🙂

Vicky is doing well.  She’s had quite a few quizzes and tests lately, but has been doing excellent on them.  I’m constantly amazed at how much school they can fit in in only a few hours.  I’d like to shadow a classroom for a day so I can better appreciate this model.  She didn’t believe us when we told her school here is about twice as long each day!

We’ve been fortunate enough to be able to call every night for an update on her day and to reminder her that she is loved and cared about. The conversations aren’t terribly long (of course, she’s only 10 and that’s typical, plus while she excels in many areas, the ability to focus for long periods of time is not one of them)  🙂  Still, those 20 minutes or so are the highlight of my day, and appear to be a special part of hers as well.  And as cheesy as it is, I love the back and forth at the end– te quiero, te quiero mas, te queiro mas mas mas mas!

How can you not love a program that makes those conversations possible?

Speaking of…. 😉  Summer Miracles is gearing up quick and we need families and funds to help these children be connected with parents who will love and cherish them.  Please consider helping.

OK, I’m not exactly sure what “mas mas mas” means, but I’m assuming it’s a great thing because you are all smiles here and in person! So, so happy for you guys.

Maybe you can shadow a school day?? I’d love to know how that works, too!
